We are looking for a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and Ford certification. The day-to-day duties include performing work on repair orders and diagnosing necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional services needed and provide repair estimates
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; Ford Certification required
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
• Skills in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
• Steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills
• Positive attitude, eager to learn, and team-oriented
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
