Job summary

Webb Automotive in Highland, IN is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for a full-time role. You will perform repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, efficiency in repairs, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to customers and service advisors. ASE certification is preferred but not required, and valid driver's license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and air conditioning.
• Communicate findings and recommended repairs with the Service Advisor, including estimated completion times for additional work.
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications while ensuring quality workmanship and efficiency.
