Job summary

Honolulu Volkswagen, located in Honolulu, HI, is urgently seeking experienced automotive service technicians of all levels (A-B-C) for a flat-rate position. The shop is highly productive and fully booked six days a week, with technicians averaging 120+ hours per pay period.

You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs to Lithia and manufacturer standards, and road-test vehicles to ensure repair quality. A valid driver’s license and ASE certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive repair experience.
• ASE and manufacturer certification desired.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

Total Rewards

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production Productivity

The average wage range for this position is $28.00-$55.00 per flat rate hours.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
