Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Honda of Fishers in Indiana. As a Full Time Technician in the Auto industry, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on Honda vehicles. Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on Honda vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks
2. Diagnose and repair various automotive issues using cutting edge diagnostic equipment and tools
3. Perform vehicle repairs and replacements on mechanical and electrical systems, such as engines, transmissions, and brakes
4. Keep detailed records of all completed services and repairs
5. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and dealership policies and procedures
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Technical or vocational training in automotive repair and maintenance
3. At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or repair shop setting
4. Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
5. Must have own tools and diagnostic equipment
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues
7. Valid driver's license and clean driving record
8. ASE certifications preferred but not required
