Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership quality standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using up-to-date diagnostic tools and special service equipment provided.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, etc.
• Conduct thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and make recommendations on any additional maintenance and/or repair items.
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer policies and procedures.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor and/or Service Manager.
• Achieve & Maintain GM Technician Training Master Certification(s).

Qualifications:

• Previous Auto Repair experience is required.
• GM experience a plus, but not required.
• Completion of a Certified Auto Tech training program a plus, but not required.
• ASE certifications a plus.
• NYS Motor Vehicle Inspectors License required.
• GM Training & Certifications a plus. Master level a big plus,but not required!
• Strong work ethic and a desire to fix it right the first time are required.
• Reliable transportation to work required.
• Must be able to work together as a quality-oriented customer-focused team.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
