Job summary

Auto Plus is hiring at our Rialto, CA location to engage customers with expert product and service knowledge, schedule appointments, and sell parts to keep customers' cars running at peak efficiency.

As a primary contact, you will manage service and sales transactions, assist with operations, and maintain a safe, organized shop while upholding company standards and policies. Prior sales and automotive experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• About one year in automotive service environment preferred.
• About one year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for commissions and discounts calculations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for customers in-store or by phone, engaging, scheduling, building trust, and selling parts and services.
• Organize service business transactions, inspections, and portions of knowledge about parts and service.
• Assist management with customer care, work orders, and store operations.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, checks, refunds, and returns; address service issues and opportunities.
• Perform routine express automotive services and thorough vehicle inspections.
• Ensure safety procedures and proper wheel torque and fluid services are followed.
• Support a safe work environment compliant with laws and company policies.
• Communicate clearly with associates, management, and customers; relay information effectively.
• Handle basic opening/closing duties as a key holder; maintain shop organization.
• Adhere to all policies and environmental rules; perform other duties as assigned.
