At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality service to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

We are looking for Automotive Service Sales Managers to assist in managing and directing all service department activities, with the primary focus of selling tires, automotive repair, and maintenance services. The Co-Manager position is a developmental leadership role. Midas is committed to training our associates and promoting from within the organization.

Responsibilities

As a Midas Automotive Service Sales Manager, you will manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operation of the shop, including:

  1. Help ensure a safe, secure, and trustworthy work environment.
  2. Sales focused on tires, automotive repair, and maintenance.
  3. Strong communication skills; you must have the ability to translate the evaluation details to the customer efficiently.
  4. Cover the manager in times of absence. Make good business decisions, hold meetings, and provide accountability.
  5. Support ongoing learning and development of team members.
  6. Establish strategic goals by gathering information from reporting documents.
  7. Define objectives, identify and evaluate trends, choose a course of action, and evaluate outcomes.
  8. Lead by example, manage, and train a team while keeping in tune with our company’s vision, purpose, and core values.
  9. Help ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed by all employees.
  10. Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers.
  11. Oversee complete vehicle inspection and make comprehensive recommendations based on the inspection evaluation and maintenance service intervals.
  12. Confidently present sales estimates, as well as promote shop service specials and financing options.
  13. Quality control all vehicles that are being repaired prior to customer delivery.
  14. Ability to successfully supervise up to 10 employees.
  15. Closely monitor inventory levels while managing product ordering and receipt.
  16. Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  17. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 1 year service experience
  2. A minimum of 3 years sales experience
  3. Excellent service writing skills
  4. General automotive knowledge
  5. Excellent customer service disposition
  6. Excellent communication skills
  7. Leadership ability
  8. Team building skills
  9. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  10. Valid driver’s license
