Job summary

Pep Boys in Brookhaven, PA is seeking a customer-focused service desk associate to engage customers, schedule appointments, and help them find parts and services to keep their cars running smoothly.

You will handle transactions, assist with tire mounting, oil changes, and repairs; maintain shop organization, follow safety procedures, and work with management on opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for commissions and discounts.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers in store or on the phone.
• Schedule appointments and communicate processes and timelines.
• Manage service desk transactions and knowledge of parts and sales.
• Handle cash, credit, refunds and returns per policies.
• Perform express automotive services and inspections.
• Enforce safety procedures and proper wheel/tire and oil services.
• Support management with opening/closing tasks where applicable.
• Maintain an organized, neat shop and stock area.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
