Job summary

Sun Devil Auto, a family-owned auto repair shop in Phoenix, is seeking a Sales and Service Advisor to promote all services and uphold the company’s standards.

You will greet customers, document concerns, quote services, and collaborate with technicians. Compensation ranges from $48K to $85K per year, with benefits like tuition reimbursement, paid time off, insurance, a 401(k) match, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 18 years or older.
• Past experience as a Service Advisor is helpful but not required.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and by phone.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicles and reference service history.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations from technicians.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and completion time; update customers throughout service.
• Follow procedures when cashing out, review inspections and explain warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns and warranty parts for customers.
