Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Service Porter at Napleton's St Louis Nissan. The Porter will keep the lot tidy, transport vehicles and customers, and help with deliveries while ensuring vehicles are clean and presentable for showroom display.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions, and access to hand and power tools. Background check required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly; move units per Service managers’ directions and display standards.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good repair on lot and showroom.
• Pickup/deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships as required.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup when necessary.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned.

Located at Napleton's St Louis Nissan, the Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicles and customers.

Job Responsibilities:
