Job summary

Napleton Valley Genesis is seeking a Porter to maintain vehicle lot appearance, move units as directed, and assist with customer deliveries and transport. You will ensure vehicles are clean and ready for display, helping with showroom readiness and storage transfers.

The role offers growth opportunities within a family-owned automotive group, with benefits and a starting wage of $16–$17 per hour in Aurora, IL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Keep the vehicle lot neat and tidy per showroom standards.
• Transport customers and staff as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles between storage and other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextPorter.Located at Napleton Valley Genesis, thePorter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
