Job summary

Pep Boys in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Service Advisor to engage customers, schedule appointments, and upsell parts and services at the service desk, sales floor, and register. You will help ensure quick, accurate work orders and keep vehicles running at peak performance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of automotive service experience; sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers in-store and over the phone; schedule appointments and upsell parts and services.
• Organize service work orders and register transactions; perform vehicle inspections and knowledge of parts.
• Assist management with customer care, work orders, register tasks, and store upkeep.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, checks, refunds and returns; address customer service issues and opportunities.
• Conduct express automotive services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.) and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates; maintain organized and clean shop.
• May perform opening/closing duties as required in designated locations.
