Christian Brothers Automotive (Oviedo, FL) is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead daily shop operations and guest satisfaction. You will oversee sales activities, staff management, and profitability while maintaining high service standards.

You will guide service writers, manage parts quality and margins, and supervise technicians to ensure timely, transparent communication with customers throughout the repair process.

Qualifications

• 5 years work experience in Automotive Customer Service & Service Sales.
• Supervisory or Management experience in the Automotive Industry.
• Proficiency in Windows based computer software and automotive store applications.
• Experience in TekMetric software application preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an industry recognized service training program preferred but not required.
• ASE Service Consultant certification or equivalent experience.
• Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Manage office and shop personnel and daily operations.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Take necessary corrective and/or disciplinary action for employee non-compliance.
• Ensure quality of work, attitude, and performance meets guest satisfaction goals.
• Develop estimates and work orders.
• Direct Service Writers' development of guest estimates and work orders and assign work orders to technicians.
• Ensure selection of quality parts.
• Ensure target margins are achieved.
• Open and close stores daily.
• Perform reconciliations, audits, and report analysis; report results to Franchise Owners.
• Ensure equipment is fully operational.
• Provide resources for technicians to do their job.
• Serve as primary communication interface to customers.
