Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking a Service Manager to lead and optimize the automotive service department across our expanding group. The role focuses on developing service operations, achieving sales and productivity targets, and building a high-performing team dedicated to exceptional customer care.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of service management experience in the automotive industry, strong leadership, and a proven ability to work with automotive software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Service Manager experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong customer focus with negotiation and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to learn and work with automotive software.

Responsibilities

• Develop service operations, gross profit, and expense control.
• Oversee daily operation of the Automotive Service Department to maximize sales and productivity.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of service professionals while building loyalty.
• Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, and with care for the customer.
• Provide exceptional service by listening to concerns and delivering solutions.
• Generate and strive to increase labor sales.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced properly while utilizing technicians efficiently.
• Maintain a quality staff meeting training standards set by manufacturers.
