Job summary

Midas is seeking an automotive service manager to lead the service department, supervise up to ten technicians, and ensure high-quality customer service. You will oversee vehicle inspections, provide pricing estimates, and promote service specials while maintaining inventory and shop organization.

Veterans and former military are encouraged to apply. This is a store-based developmental role with emphasis on training and internal promotion within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have general automotive knowledge.
• Excellent customer service disposition and communication skills.
• Leadership ability and team-building skills are required.
• Willing to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays; closed on Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers.
• Follow up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times, etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations—build computerized repair orders and source parts.
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials.
• Lead, manage, and train team while aligning with company vision and values.
• Supervise up to ten employees.
• Oversee inspections, diagnostics and repairs of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks.
• Maintain inventory counts.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned
