Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Service Manager to run the service department in one of our auto service centers. You will schedule staff, manage appointments, and coordinate workflow to ensure timely, quality work for guests.

You will drive tire and service sales, build strong guest relationships, and supervise training for service team members. Strong leadership and customer-service skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service management experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No relocation offered; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage the service department effectively by scheduling associates, service appointments, and organizing workflow to deliver quality work on time to guests.
• Help drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions including tire and service sales.
• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction by acting as liaison between technicians and guests.
• Contribute to training and development of service department associates.
• Explain warranties, promotions, and advertisements.
• Utilize guidelines to recommend services based on manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
