Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team of direct and indirect reports, and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and environmental codes. This role focuses on driving productivity, profitability, and top service levels.

You will coach sales associates, manage POS transactions, ensure inventory integrity, and resolve customer issues while maintaining strong vendor relations and a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience preferred; college/technical program completed is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong customer service and cash handling skills.
• Ability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and manage team members including assigning, supervising, and appraising work.
• Ensure productivity, profitability, and compliance with policies, procedures, and safety codes.
• Coach service selling associates on Gas 3, vehicle inspections, and store systems.
• Recruit and interview talent to ensure operating efficiency and top service levels.
• Oversee POS transactions, inventory integrity, and vendor payment practices.
• Maintain opening/closing responsibilities and ensure proper customer service standards.
