Job summary

Berglund Automotive seeks an Automotive Service Manager to lead a high-performing service department across our Virginia locations. You will drive performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction by building strong teams and delivering exceptional service.

Lead advisors, technicians, and support staff, implement efficient operations, and collaborate with Parts and Sales to ensure a seamless dealership experience.

Qualifications

• Proven success as an Automotive Service Manager.
• Ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Track record of improving customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and department profitability.
• Experience with dealership management systems (DMS), service software, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the service department to drive performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate service advisors, technicians, and support staff to achieve their full potential.
• Foster a customer-first culture that delivers exceptional service and creates lasting customer relationships.
• Monitor workflow, productivity, repair quality, and department performance for efficient operations.
• Work with Parts and Sales teams to create a seamless dealership experience for every customer.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer requirements, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Promote a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement.
