Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive service manager (5 years preferred).
• Working knowledge of dealership management software, such as CDK Global.
• Familiarity with or ability to learn OEM standards, repair procedures, and diagnostic tools.
• Preference given to ASE certifications or Nissan training, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations at the service center and develop effective new strategies for hitting monthly targets.
• Provide leadership to technicians and create schedules to optimize shop efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Nissan warranty policies, dealership safety regulations, and training requirements.
• Meet sales, performance, and customer satisfaction targets; monitor metrics and revenue opportunities.
• Support customer retention by ensuring high service scores and resolving issues with vehicle owners.

YOUR GOALS AS OUR AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE MANAGER:

This role manages the day-to-day operations at our service center and develops effective new strategies for hitting monthly targets. You'll support daily productivity by delegating work to technicians and strategically creating schedules for optimizing shop efficiency. As they work on the vehicles, you'll make sure all activities comply with Nissan warranty policies, dealership safety regulations, and technical training requirements.

One of your core goals is to ensure the department meets sales, performance, and customer satisfaction targets. You'll monitor monthly metrics, track parts and labor sales, and uncover new opportunities for growing revenue. You'll also support customer retention by ensuring high customer service scores and working directly with vehicle owners to resolve any issues or complaints.
