At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

We are seeking automotive service managers to oversee all service department activities in a retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. This role is part of Midas's Store Manager development program, emphasizing internal training and promotion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, including listening and consulting with customers
• Follow up with customers regarding requested services, estimated completion times, etc.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations, build computerized repair orders, and source parts
• Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials
• Lead, manage, and train the team while aligning with company values and goals
• Supervise up to ten employees
• Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of domestic, European, and Asian vehicles and light trucks
• Maintain inventory counts
• Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of store or service management experience
• General automotive knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• Leadership and team-building abilities
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Valid driver's license
