Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostic tools and repair procedures.
• Solid understanding of automotive parts and inventory management.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in automotive technology or business administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise service technicians, including scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
• Develop and implement service department policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor service department performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, repair times, and revenue, and implement improvements as needed.
• Address customer concerns and resolve complaints effectively and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies for the service department.
• Prepare and manage the service department budget.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to ensure seamless operations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and recall information.
• Conduct quality control checks on repairs and maintenance services.
