Job summary

FullSpeedAutomotive is seeking an Assistant Manager in Beaumont, TX to support daily operations across service bay, front counter, and back office. This hands-on role helps drive speed, quality, and trust while leading in the manager's absence.

You will mentor technicians and service advisors and foster a positive, productive team environment. The position emphasizes leadership, coaching, scheduling, and ensuring safety and brand standards, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations, stepping in to lead the location in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling team members to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Help onboard and train new team members on service procedures, point-of-sale systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that reflects the brand values.
