Employee Workplace is seeking an Engineering Garage Assistant in Fountain Valley, CA to support automotive service operations onsite. You will handle check-ins, prepare service documents, and keep vehicle records accurate while collaborating with technicians and customers.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced automotive setting, with a Monday–Friday schedule and pay hourly. Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) preferred.
• Automotive service advisor, service writer, or service coordinator experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create repair orders, estimates, and service documentation.
• Schedule appointments and prepare vehicle service records.
• Track recalls, warranty repairs, and service campaigns.
• Coordinate with technicians and provide customer updates.
• Complete and communicate vehicle inspection results.
• Conduct labor time studies and prepare summary reports.
• Maintain accurate records and service documentation.
• Identify process improvements to support operational efficiency.
• Assist with administrative and project support tasks.
