Job summary

ZT Automotive Group in Texas Alvin is seeking an Automotive Receptionist to be the friendly first contact for customers at our dealership and service center. You will handle inquiries, manage appointments, and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting our administrative and operational team.

You will greet guests, answer calls, schedule service and sales appointments, assist with basic information on services and promotions, and help with clerical tasks to keep the front desk

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they arrive at the dealership or service center.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Schedule appointments for vehicle service and sales inquiries, coordinating with the service and sales teams.
• Assist customers with basic information about vehicle services, sales processes, and available promotions.
• Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean, welcoming, and stocked with necessary materials.
• Handle customer check-ins and check-outs for vehicle services, including processing payments and providing receipts.
• Direct customers to appropriate departments or personnel when needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.
• Ensure all customer concerns are addressed promptly or escalated to the relevant department.
• Manage the flow of visitors and deliveries to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with basic clerical tasks, including handling mail, faxes, and emails.
