Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Service Advisor/Estimator to produce timely and precise estimates for reconditioning services on consigned vehicles for wholesale and retail clients.

You will assess vehicle damage, document repairs and collaborate with clients for approvals using Cox’s tools to ensure consistency and quality. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and timely delivery of estimates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years related experience.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Produces accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance and reconditioning teams to initiate work.
• Works with procurement staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies.
• Monitors repair status and timelines, and informs customers of progress.
• Keeps records of repair details and completes necessary paperwork.
• Demonstrates safety commitment and participates in Safety Excellence activities.
