Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care is seeking a friendly, organized front desk/shop assistant for our Springfield, VA location. You will answer phones, organize paperwork, order parts, and maintain shop workflow while keeping customers informed about repairs.

You will coordinate transportation, provide top-tier customer service, and follow up with customers to gather feedback. Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:30pm, competitive compensation, and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service or related role.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, goal-oriented, and energetic team player.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and directing calls.
• Organizing paperwork in the shop.
• Ordering parts and managing inventory.
• Maintaining workflow in the shop to ensure timely repairs.
• Keeping customers updated on the status of their vehicles' repairs.
• Coordinating transportation services as needed.
• Delivering a high level of customer service.
• Following up with customers to solicit feedback.
