Job summary

Puente Hills Hyundai is seeking a Service Writer & Advisor to manage the end-to-end customer service experience in City of Industry, CA. You will drive service delivery, communicate timelines, and ensure accurate estimates while maintaining excellent customer relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least six months of work/training experience in the automotive industry or a closely related field.
• Knowledgeable about newer vehicle technologies.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.
• Analytical and adept at multitasking.
• Work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented.
• Remarkable written and verbal communication skills.
• Substantial and consistent work record.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CSI rating meets dealership expectations.
• Guide customers through the service experience from drive to handover.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and deliver accurate service estimates.
• Educate customers on vehicle care following manufacturer guidelines.
• Clearly communicate repair and maintenance timelines.
• Keep customers updated on estimate changes and pickup times.
• Record repair and maintenance updates on approved orders accurately.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Build strong relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Collaborate with managers to meet daily performance metrics.
• Maintain penetration levels for CP and Warranty services.
