Job summary

Madison Honda in Easton, PA is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor who can greet customers with professionalism, gather service history, and clearly explain needed repairs and estimates. You will promote services, parts and accessories, provide accurate cost and time estimates, secure authorization, and monitor vehicle progress throughout the day.

The role requires prior service-advisor experience, a valid driver's license, a strong customer-service orientation, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Two or more years of previous experience as a service advisor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
• Valid driver license in the state you will work and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
• Inspect vehicle and refer to service history to identify and verify customer’s service needs.
• Promote sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by understanding product requirements.
• Provide accurate cost and time completion estimates and obtain proper customer authorization.
• Check progress of services and communicate changes in cost-estimate or delivery time to customers for approval.
• Administer warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Confirm service appointments and conduct post-repair follow up.
• Inspect vehicles prior to delivery to ensure services/repairs are performed correctly and communicate results.
• Meet state and federal requirements for automobile repair and consumer protection.
• Demonstrates values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
