Job summary

MINI of Austin is seeking a Service Advisor to sell and schedule needed service work, greet customers, and accurately document vehicle problems on repair orders. You will communicate with customers about cost estimates, parts, and timelines, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met in a fast-paced dealership service department.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and knowledge of automotive systems; prior service department experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Prior experience in service department preferred.
• Must wear PPE as required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and collect customer and vehicle data.
• Greet customers and conduct telephone transactions.
• Write up vehicle problems on repair orders and test drive as needed.
• Explain work and costs to customers; obtain authorization.
• Monitor progress and update customers on delays or changes.
• Close repair orders and process payments; maintain records.
• Maintain a safe, clean shop and follow policy and procedures.
