C. Harper Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Service Assistant to support the service department with administrative tasks and daily operations.

You will help with appointment scheduling, documentation, and vehicle records, providing essential support to Service Advisors, technicians, and management. This role serves as an entry point for developing knowledge to advance into a Service Advisor position, with opportunities to grow within the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Schedule and confirm service appointments.
• Prepare and maintain repair orders and service department documentation.
• Verify customer and vehicle information and ensure records are accurate.
• Assist with opening and closing service repair orders.
• File, scan, and organize service-related documents.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records.
• Process service paperwork, maintenance records, and internal documentation.
• Coordinate vehicle movement within the dealership as needed.
• Assist with loaner vehicle, rental vehicle, or shuttle administration as applicable.
• Answer and direct incoming service department phone calls.
• Assist with cashiering and payment processing when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional service drive and customer waiting area.
• Support service department processes, projects, and administrative functions.
