Job summary

Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships in Maryland is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our busy service team. You will greet customers, schedule repairs, and clearly communicate needs, estimates and timelines while coordinating with technicians to keep service flow smooth.

We value a customer-focused, energetic, team-oriented approach, plus strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Strong communication skills; English required; Spanish bilingual preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and professionally.
• Answer service calls and schedule appointments.
• Communicate repair needs, estimates, and timelines clearly.
• Coordinate repair orders with Technicians.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service process.
• Recommend additional maintenance or services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience-every visit.
