Job summary

TGK Automotive in Minnesota is seeking Service Advisors to greet customers, assess vehicle concerns, and guide the repair and maintenance process with honesty and integrity. You will be the face of the shop and the primary contact throughout service.

Compensation ranges from 70K to 90K per year (hourly plus bonus opportunities). Benefits include tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and sick time, six paid holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and

Qualifications

• Posses a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work at least 5 days per week.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and on the telephone using the Company's standardized customer service techniques.
• Listen to and document customer's concerns; inspect vehicle and refer to service history to identify service needs.
• Recommend services and communicate recommendations from the Automotive Technician so the customer can decide; document in the customer file.
• Promote sales of services, parts and accessories by understanding product and service requirements.
• Provide customer with an accurate quote that includes cost and time for approved services; give updates on status.
• Follow procedures when cashing out tickets, review multi-point inspection and explain warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction for all customers.
• Track returns and warranty parts for individual customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
