Job summary

Gills Point S is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to be the primary link between customers and the service team. You will blend automotive knowledge with exceptional communication to deliver a service experience that builds trust and loyalty.

You’ll greet customers, assess vehicle needs, present honest recommendations, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and ongoing relationship building.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience in automotive/tire environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive maintenance and tire services.
• Technical or vocational automotive training is a plus.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to build customer trust and confidently recommend products/services.
• Experience using POS and shop management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming service experience.
• Listen to concerns and identify maintenance/tire needs.
• Provide honest recommendations prioritizing safety and reliability.
• Prepare accurate estimates and explain services.
• Recommend additional services when they add value.
• Educate customers on tire care and preventive maintenance.
• Follow up with customers during repairs for updates.
• Resolve concerns professionally.
