Responsibilities include greeting customers, gathering information, coordinating service appointments, preparing estimates, and managing repair orders. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to drive customer satisfaction and seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive education or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks.
• Sound technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a warm, friendly and professional atmosphere.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, understanding their concerns and requirements.
• Listen actively, document concerns accurately, and communicate them to technicians.
• Schedule and confirm service appointments, ensuring efficient use of technicians' time.
• Gather vehicle history, symptoms, and requested services from customers.
• Advise on services, maintenance schedules and required repairs per guidelines.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for parts, labor, and services.
• Explain cost estimates clearly and obtain customer approval for repairs.
• Create and manage repair orders, documenting services and parts used.
• Maintain up-to-date service records and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
