Job summary

Trehan Automotive Inc. in Brandon, Florida, is seeking a full-time Automotive Service Advisor/General Manager to oversee and motivate a talented team of professionals within a high-volume dealership.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in dealership management, strong communication skills, and a track record of driving customer satisfaction and profitability. The role offers a competitive base salary, growth opportunities, and a path to lead daily operations with sales and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; high school diploma accepted.
• 3+ years in sales or general manager at a dealership or auto group.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry trends.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; ability to interpret P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and resolve customer complaints to meet satisfaction targets.
• Recruit, hire, and train managers across service, office, and sales teams.
• Assist with creating advertising campaigns to boost sales and brand visibility.
• Attend manager meetings and coordinate with owners and staff on sales processes.
• Implement growth strategies while monitoring P&L and inventory to fit the local market.
• Review financial statements monthly/quarterly/annually before presenting to upper management.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal vehicle sales regulations.
