Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a dealership position.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides a complete written cost estimate for labor and parts; establishes promised time.
• Monitors progress and communicates changes in estimate or time to customers; obtains authorization for additional repairs.
• Test-drives the vehicle or refers to the test technician as needed.
• Maintains Customer Satisfaction Index at/above average.
• Advises customers on vehicle care per manufacturer specifications using maintenance menus.
• Follows safety policies and reports accidents immediately.
• Reads and comprehends instructions; demonstrates ability to pass pre-employment tests.
