Qualifications

• At least 1 year dealership experience.
• Must be able to write clear and precise repair instructions.
• Provide estimates for labor and parts.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and/or extended warranty companies for approvals.

Responsibilities

• Promptly meet and greet service customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Listen to customer’s reasons for bringing in their vehicle to the service department.
• Offer diagnostic services or repairs to satisfy customers’ concerns.
• Provide accurate estimates for services or repairs.
• Handle customer complaints courteously and professionally.
• Turn over to service manager for unresolved complaints.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and satisfy inquiries.
• Track repair progress and update customers on changes.
• Sell repairs and services aligned with customer needs.
• Present a service menu and promote maintenance services.
• Obtain accurate parts and labor prices and create initial estimates.
• Obtain telephone approvals for add-ons when customers aren’t present.
• Meet or exceed sales objectives.
• Write clear repair orders and manage documentation.
• Maintain scheduling forms and keep records updated.
• Communicate with technicians about job status changes.
