Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor to be the link between customers and our in-shop technicians at the Fredericksburg, VA location. This role emphasizes friendly, prompt customer service and accurate service coordination.

You will greet customers, explain estimates, monitor repairs, and arrange towing or transportation when needed. A high school diploma, automotive knowledge, and a valid driver’s license are required; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred, or three years relevant experience in a fast paced environment with a proven Sales and Customer Satisfaction record.
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Service Advisor Certification is a plus, but not required!
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer telephone calls and schedule appointments in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Review repairs and services with customers to ensure a complete understanding of the services performed.
• Distribute work to shop technicians while monitoring progress and accuracy of each job.
• Arrange towing and/or alternate transportation when necessary.
• Monitor inspection dates and notify customers for required services.
