Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships is seeking a Client Service Advisor to be the face of our service department in Texas. You will greet guests, understand service needs, and guide them through recommended maintenance with honesty and clarity.

In this role you will generate accurate estimates, manage timelines, and coordinate with technicians and parts to keep work moving. Excellent communication and a clean driving record are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused automotive service advisor with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain technical work in simple terms to customers.
• Experience with service write-ups, estimates, and selling services.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and conduct a thorough walk-around and write-up.
• Listen to concerns and document them for accurate diagnosis.
• Present services honestly with supporting evidence; avoid oversell/undersell.
• Provide accurate estimates, timelines, and proactive updates.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep work moving and times accurate.
• Drive customer-pay sales, hours per RO, and effective labor rate while protecting CSI.
• Handle concerns calmly and see problems through to resolution.
• Follow up after visits to confirm satisfaction and earn the next service.
