Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Houston, TX is seeking a Sales & Service Advisor to be the primary contact for customers, helping them understand vehicle needs and ensuring a smooth, professional service experience from start to finish.

This role offers an attractive pay package with a base hourly rate of $16.00–$20.00 plus uncapped commission, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement. Strong focus on customer interaction, sales, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is highly preferred, but not required.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner in person and by phone.
• Listen to concerns, document them, inspect the vehicle, and reference service history.
• Recommend services according to knowledge; document recommendations in the customer file.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories with clear understanding of requirements.
• Provide an accurate quote with cost and time for approved services; give updates throughout the day.
• Cosh out procedures: review multi-point inspection and explain warranties.
• Follow up after service to ensure customer satisfaction; track returns and warranty parts.
