Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Two years of dealership experience.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and collects customer data prior to arrival when possible.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts; establishes promised time.
• Monitors progress of repairs and notifies customers of changes; obtains authorization for additional work.
• Test-drives the vehicle or refers to the test technician as necessary.
• Maintains a CSI rating at least comparable to manufacturer/branch average.
• Advises customers on vehicle care per manufacturers’ specifications using maintenance menus.
• Follows all safety policies and reports accidents as required.
