Job summary

Promotive in Wilmington, DE is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians and ensure a positive service experience. Base salary plus team commission with earning potential $60,000-$100,000+ based on experience.

You will greet customers, document issues, review DVIs, prepare estimates, order parts, and communicate with technicians to keep repairs on track. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience required.
• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to explain technical information in an understandable way.
• Comfortable using shop management software and digital tools.
• Positive attitude with a team-first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and building lasting relationships
• Listening carefully to customer concerns and documenting vehicle issues
• Creating accurate repair orders
• Reviewing Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) with customers
• Explaining repair recommendations in a clear, easy-to-understand way
• Preparing estimates and obtaining repair approvals
• Communicating with technicians throughout the repair process
• Ordering parts and monitoring repair progress
• Providing updates from vehicle drop-off through pickup
• Delivering outstanding customer service on every visit
• Helping maintain an organized and efficient service department
