Joe Cooper Chevrolet Cadillac GMC of Shawnee in Kansas seeks a dedicated Service Advisor to be the primary contact for automotive service and repair matters. You will coordinate between customers, managers and technicians to arrange treatments and communicate timelines.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, automotive training or relevant experience, and a clean driving record. A strong emphasis on communication and delivering world-class service is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience preferred.
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.

Responsibilities

• Act as the center of communication for service/repair activities between customers, managers and technicians.
• Listen to customer problems, arrange appropriate service/repairs, and manage expectations.
• Explain needed repairs and maintenance, and ensure customers are informed on costs and timelines.
• Strive to deliver world-class customer service and ensure the vehicle is repaired right the first time, in the shortest time possible.
