Joe Cooper Ford of Shawnee is accepting applications for an additional Service Advisor. Our Service Advisors are the primary contact for all automotive service and repair matters, communicating effectively between customers, managers, and technicians to ensure smooth operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with post-secondary automotive training or equivalent experience preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience preferred.
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer and internet skills; CDK and/or X-Time preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair matters.
• Communicating effectively between customers, managers, and technicians.
• Listening to and understanding customer problems.
• Arranging appropriate service/repairs.
• Setting and managing expectations for customers and technicians.
• Explaining needed repairs and recommended maintenance to customers.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction with repair quality and timeliness.
• Working productively in a fast-paced team environment.
