Job summary

McCarthy Auto Group in Lawrence, KS is seeking a full-time Service Advisor with strong communication and customer service skills. You will greet customers, write detailed service orders, and coordinate with technicians to keep clients informed throughout repairs.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of service writing experience, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reynolds and Reynolds DMS knowledge is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year service writing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong desire to sell.
• Reynolds and Reynolds DMS knowledge preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems preferred.
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and write detailed service orders.
• Review vehicle report for recalls and verify warranty applicability.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, review services.
• Communicate with technicians to keep customers updated.
• Provide cost estimates of mechanical and maintenance repairs.
• Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above dealership standards.
