Job summary

Trust Palmdale Kia in Palmdale, CA is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor to join the team as a full-time member. You will greet customers, listen to service needs, prepare repair orders, and estimate costs with customer approval.

The role reports to the Service Manager and offers strong earning potential with a compensation package. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of service-advising experience, and solid knowledge of automotive repairs and parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of Automotive Service Advisor/Writing experience.
• Working knowledge of automotive products, repairs, and parts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customers’ needs to workable technician orders.
• Strong writing and typing skills.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, drug test, and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for shop insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Advises and greets customers; listens to service needs and determines required service.
• Prepares repair orders and estimates additional costs with customer permission.
• Reports to the Service Manager.
• Follows all company processes and communicates with customers and other departments.
