Qualifications

Heritage Toyota is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team! This role is all about building trust and loyalty with our customers while ensuring they have a positive and seamless experience when bringing their vehicles in for service. We’re seeking someone with strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a talent for staying organized in a fast-paced environment. Whether you have prior automotive experience or come from a customer service background, we provide on-the-job training to set you up for success. Plus, you’ll be working in a temperature-controlled shop with a supportive team that values growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers coming into the service department and determine the nature of customers request.
• Explain company policies, procedures, products, services, etc.
• Answer a variety of questions related to car repairs and servicing.
• Explain labor and parts estimates; investigate customer concerns.
• Track progress on customers vehicles, and keep customers apprised.
• Direct customers to cashier, and assist with cashier duties as needed.
• Follow up with customers after work is done to ensure satisfaction.
• Use of ADP/CDK software, Tis, Service Edge, Dealer Daily and iPad to complete tasks.
• Prepare repair orders and customer bill, ensuring that final charges correlate to quotes.
• Perform a variety of tasks associated with processing warranty claims.
• Maintain all required logs and records of service department activities.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• One to three years of relevant experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Fundamental computer and administrative/clerical skills.
• Excellent customer relations skills, including basic sales skills.
• General technical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch and stand over, under and next to all repair vehicles.
• Ability to work with little supervision and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
