Job summary

Porsche Arrowhead at RACCAR Automotive is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to be the primary contact for customers through the service and repair process. You will coordinate with technicians, explain repairs, and help ensure an exceptional customer experience from arrival to delivery.

The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced luxury automotive environment, with strong communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive Service Advisor experience strongly preferred.
  • Luxury or high-line automotive dealership experience preferred.
  • Porsche or other European automotive brand experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain automotive repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable using dealership management systems, service scheduling platforms, email, and other computer applications.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to meet dealership and manufacturer training requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers professionally and determine their vehicle service, maintenance, and repair needs.
  • Create and manage repair orders accurately and completely.
  • Review customer concerns and communicate relevant information to technicians.
  • Coordinate with technicians and the Parts Department regarding vehicle diagnosis, repair recommendations, parts availability, and estimated completion times.
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of recommended repairs, maintenance needs, pricing, and expected timelines.
  • Obtain customer authorization before completing additional repairs or services.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
  • Review completed repair orders for accuracy before vehicle delivery.Explain completed repairs, maintenance performed, warranty coverage, and applicable charges to customers.
  • Recommend factory-scheduled maintenance and additional services based on vehicle condition, mileage, manufacturer recommendations, and technician findings.
  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments as needed.
  • Monitor assigned repair orders throughout the day to help ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Work closely with technicians, Parts, management, and other dealership departments to resolve customer concerns.
  • Assist with warranty-related service processes and documentation when applicable.
  • Follow up with customers regarding their service experience and address concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information within dealership systems.
  • Support department goals related to customer satisfaction, productivity, service sales, and retention.
  • Follow all dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and applicable safety procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • May work indoors or outdoors and be exposed to vehicle traffic, varying temperatures, noise, and typical automotive workplace conditions.

POSITION SUMMARY

Porsche Arrowhead is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our Service Department. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between our customers and the service team and plays an important role in delivering the premium level of service expected from the Porsche brand.

The ideal candidate is professional, organized, confident communicating with customers, and comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury automotive environment. This position is responsible for guiding customers through the service and repair process, coordinating with technicians, recommending appropriate maintenance and repairs, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from arrival through vehicle delivery.

  • Familiarity with manufacturer warranty and maintenance programs.
  • Strong record of customer satisfaction and service sales performance.
