O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Web Content Writer to craft, proofread, and optimize content for our retail website, publications, and internal channels. You will drive organic traffic and customer engagement while upholding brand voice and standards.

You will research topics, write product descriptions and how-to content, and collaborate with marketing and design to ensure cohesive campaigns. Strong editing, SEO, and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with keyword-based content research and prioritizing search engine optimization in content production.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize engaging content per the approved strategy and SEO best practices for the retail website, publications, and internal POS.
• Edit and enhance content based on feedback, SEO standards, brand standards, and voice.
• Research industry topics to write descriptions, How-To and brand content, and assets.
• Proofread content ensuring brand consistency, SEO, copyright compliance, and supplier brand standards.
• Assist with SEO, digital and paid marketing and local search projects as needed.
• Collaborate with video, design, and Marketing teams to align copy with visuals and campaigns.
• Stay current with SEO, AEO, GEO practices, ranking, and keyword research tools.
• Monitor content performance and identify areas for improvement or new content opportunities.
• Support special department projects as directed by managers or VP.
