Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Content & Catalog specialist to collect, curate, and enhance product information across EPC, digital assets, and online catalogs. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely updates and accurate data for the auto parts catalog.

The role requires strong communication, detailed data management, and automotive product knowledge, with a focus on improving content quality for a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Self-starter who can prioritize and manage multiple projects while working with multiple departments.
• Strong automotive product knowledge, understanding of automotive theories and repair procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of automotive parts cataloging or parts counter experience.
• Thorough understanding of computers and desktop applications required but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collect and circulate supplier vehicle application data (eCat data) to support EPC.
• Follow up and track suppliers to ensure monthly updates of vehicle application information.
• Collect and circulate digital asset information (photos, brochures, manuals, schematics).
• Ensure complete and accurate digital asset information across catalog.
• Gather product content for online/ POS environments (descriptions, features, attributes, instructions).
• Classify non-application/universal products to correct catalog part types.
• Coordinate data standards (PIES, ACES) for optimal catalog function.
• Maximize product content across all O'Reilly systems and pursue new data collection methods.
